Explanation:When tools are overheated, they burn (or blue). This is caused by excessive heat build-up in the tool, which then affects the chemical composition, causing the metal to break down and lose its edge. Once an edge has been burnt, you need to grind away the edge until the burnt metal is removed and then a new bevel needs to be ground. By using a wetstone grinder this problem is overcome.
